CYSC 2021 Conference finally made a "non-virtual" meeting and vivid exchange of young ceramics scientists possible again. In the frame of this conference, which took place from November 20 to 23, 2022 in Novi Sad, the "Student Speech Contest" of the European Ceramic Society got a proper stage. Maximilian Staudacher, who was nominated at our annual meeting, won this prize ahead of 18 other participants with his presentation „The Ball-on-Three-Balls-Test: Comparison with the Ring-on-Ring-Test for Ceramics“.
Maximilian Staudacher works at the Chair for Structural and Functional Ceramics for his PhD and is member of the FFG funded project „CharAM“. He is engaged with testing methods for strength of ceramic samples produced by additive manufacturing. As the winner of the Student Speech Contest Mr. Staudacher is invited for a presentation at the 17. ECerS Conference „Ceramics in Europe 2022“ taking place from July 10 to 14, 2022 in Krakow.
Cordial congratulations to Dipl.-Ing. Maximilian Staudacher for this impressing success!
